I need some healthy recipes for Talipia fillets. Low sugar, low fat and preferably in the oven.?

Use the oven on the broil setting or use the broiler. Take tilapia, spray with spray butter (or use a littler low fat margerine) and sprinkle with salt and pepper. This will be healthy and great. Tilapia Tortilla -- Awesome. I just tried this recipe the other day:

4 tilapia fillets

6 corn tortillas, torn in pieces

1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped

1 teaspoon lime juice

1/4 cup fresh cilantro

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon seasoning salt

1 egg, beaten

1. Preheat oven to 375掳F Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.

2. Place tortilla pieces, pepper, lime juice, cilantro and spices in blender. Pulse until the mixture is uniform small crumbs. Spread on plate.

3. Beat egg in shallow dish.

4. Dip each fillet in egg, then in crumbs, patting crumbs to adhere. Place on baking sheet.

5. Bake until fish flakes, about 15 minutes depending on thickness of fillets.

I just broil mine. Then I top it off w/green salsa [a great brand, or make my own]
All I do is bake it with chopped red onion and green pepper. The veggie flavor goes right into the fish. Good stuff!
Use some foil, then put the talapia fillet in there, squeeze some lemon juice over it and perhaps a little low fat (real butter) butter and then bake it..it will be delicious!! Remember to use just a little salt to taste.
