Can you give me some recipes for healthy food, that dont contain alot of ingredients.. so quite simple?

Fry onions and 1 clove garlic (crushed) in a little olive oil until golden, add lamb mince and cook until browned. Add tin of tomatoes, salt, pepper, bay leaf. Put into dish. Boil %26amp; mash potatoes (spuds) and make a layer on top of mince. Run fork over surface to make it look like ploughed field.

Cook in oven until browned. Enjoy ';mediterranean shepherds pie';

Substitute soya (TVP) for mince and just a tiny bit of oil + water to fry.Can you give me some recipes for healthy food, that dont contain alot of ingredients.. so quite simple?
Very Healthy Waffles

1/3 cup raw almonds

1 1/2 cups quick oats

2 1/4 cups water

1/4 teaspoon salt -- up to 1/2

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon maple flavor -- (optional)

Put in blender in order listed. Blend well. Allow to set while waffle iron is h eating. Bake in a hot waffle iron for 8 to 10 minutes. The baking time depends on the heat of the waffle iron but these waffles DO take longer than ordinary w affles so be patient. Serve with fruit sauce or syrup or ir you are in a hurry and need to ';grab and go'; eat plain. :) Make a lot of these ahead of time and f reeze them. To reheat: Pop in the toaster.

Mom's Harvest Apple Pie

3 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

1 orange, zested

1 cup fresh cranberries

1/3 cup raisins

1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Pie crust dough, enough for top and bottom (from your own favorite recipe)

1/4 cup half-and-half

Sugar, for sprinkling

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, orange zest, cranberries, raisins, walnuts, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and mix well. Roll out the bottom dough and place it into a 9-inch pan, leaving 1-inch of pie dough hanging over. Pour the pie filling into the crust. Roll out the top dough and cut it with a scalloped pastry wheel into 15 strips. Gently twist the strips 2 or 3 times, beginning with the longest ones, and place them on top of the pie, working outward and in various angles. Gently fold the bottom crust up over the edge of the pie and flute the edges with your fingertips. With a pastry brush, gently brush the half-and-half over the entire top crust and edges and then sprinkle generously with sugar.

Bake until apples are cooked, about 45 to 50 minutes. (You can check the apples with a fork to make sure they are tender). Remove to a rack to cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.

1 pound boneless pork loin chops

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 large shallot, minced

1 1/2 tablespoons sweet or hot paprika

1 tablespoon caraway seeds

1/4 cup dry white wine

1 cup chicken stock, preferably homemade

1/4 cup sour cream

Additional kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Sprinkle a small amount of water on a large sheet of plastic wrap. Place half of the pork on top of the plastic and sprinkle again with water. Cover with another sheet of plastic wrap and pound with a rolling pin or meat pounder until about 1/4-inch thick. Repeat with the remaining pork.

Mix the flour with the salt and pepper, to taste, in a shallow pie plate. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until almost smoking. Place the cutlets in the flour mixture and turn to coat on all sides. Shake off the excess flour and add to the skillet. Working in batches if necessary, saute until golden, about 1 minute per side. Transfer to a plate or platter and cover loosely with foil.

Add the shallot, paprika and caraway seeds to the pan. Saute for 1 minute, then add the wine. Simmer, stirring to pick up and browned bits on the bottom, until almost dry. Add the chicken stock and simmer for 3 minutes. Return the pork to the skillet and simmer, turning often, until warmed through and the sauce is thickened, about 1 minute. Transfer to warmed serving plates. Stir the sour cream into the pan juices and season with salt and pepper. Spoon over the pork and serve at once
