My boyfriend and I are watching our weight and I would like healthy hearty recipes please.?

Seafood

Chicken

Desserts

Steaks

Pork Chops

The last three aren't really necessary but we would like to change up from eating the same thing, chicken and fish.

Thank you so much for your help.My boyfriend and I are watching our weight and I would like healthy hearty recipes please.?
Gumbo (Try having it over brown rice. It's healthier.)

Lentil and Brown Rice Soup (You could add a bit of chicken to this if you want to. I like it without, though)

African Sweet Potato Stew (This recipe looks a bit odd, I know. But give it a shot, it's fabulous! If you're not a big fan of spicy food, just use 1/2 or 1 jalapeno.)

Vegetable stews are good, I take frozen peas and corn, sliced carrots, potatos, celery, onion, and anything else you like and brown some stew meat. I put it all in a crockpot or big pot if ur in a hurry and pour the big can of tomota juice over it and season it with salt and pepper and any other spices I like. I serve it over white rice and its very hearty.

Marinate chicken in Italian dressing or coat with a dijon mustard and cook.

Desert could be chocolate angel food cake with strawberries and light whipped topping. Also, I like to take regular angel food cake, tear it in pieces and put it in a pan. Make your favorite instant pudding flavor (mine is lemon) and pour it over cake. Then frost it with light whipped topping. I call mine lemon fluff and it's really refreshing and tastes great.
I just made a Black Bean Soup with ham. Don't have the exact recipe to add here, but you can easily find one by googling it. It was easy to make, just soak the beans overnight and then toss the stuff in a crockpot %26amp; put your feet up %26amp; wait. It was excellent. Have been cooking for 40 years but never made soup from dried beans. Don't know what I was waiting for 'cause it was really wonderful.
Honey, it sounds like your problem is lack of vegetables and fruits and whole grains. =(

Steam your meats, bake your meats instead of skillet-frying, microwaving or deep frying. Use absolutely no added salt-subsitute things like garlic powder or paprika instead until you drive the salt loving taste buds out of your mouth. =)

As for desserts?

Soy Yogurt Yummy

2 6oz cups Silk Soy Yogurt (vanilla or strawberry)

1/4th cup nuts

3/4th cup Organic Plain Cereal

1/4th cup frozen, thawed fruit, fresh fruit or dried fruit

Get a tall, wide-mouthed but slim glass (martini glasses are EXCELLENT for this), put a spoonful of yogurt in the bottom, put a layer of cereal down, then fruit, then nuts, top with yogurt and continue until you reach the top of the glass or you run out of ingredients. Top with a cherry or a strawberry and share with your boyfriend. =) Less calories for both of you and you can both lean over and gaze into each other's eyes as you eat.

My main message to you?: Stay away from overprocessed stuff. If you can't pronounce the ingredients in the package, run away! Organic and foods you make at home are the absolute best for you. Try to avoid eating out, too. =) Read your labels and good luck!

I love to take pork chops and put them in the Crock-Pot! I put them in raw, and I add 1 standard (14 1/2-ish ounce) can of tomato sauce, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon chili powder for each 2 chops. I toss the chops in it so they won't stick to the bottom, then cook on low for 8-10 hours. The chops fall apart and become a hearty meat sauce delicious served over rice.

I also like to freeze a can of crushed pineapple until it is solid, then puree it in the food processor - pineapple sorbet.
