Any healthy cookie recipes?

I'm absolutely addicted to homemade cookies, and unfortunately this is where I struggle the most with controlling my weight :) Are there any healthy cookie recipes out there? Or perhaps any tricks to help cut the calories and fat that is traditionally found in most cookie recipes?Any healthy cookie recipes?
Mix together 3 1/2 cups oatmeal


3 cups flour


2 cups wheat germ


4 tsp.baking soda


1 tsp. salt


In another bowl mix 2 cups margarine


1/2 cup brown sugar


Add 4 eggs


2-3 cups raisins ( or dried cranberries)


I soak the raisins or cranberries in hot water for 15 minutes or so then drain befor adding to batter.Can add a cup or so of nuts to your choice..Bake as you would any other cookie. I use an ice cream scoop to flop them on the baking pan then flatten slightlyAny healthy cookie recipes?

Banana Oatmeal Cookies





1 cup white sugar


3/4 cup shortening


1 egg


1-1/2 cups flour


1/2 teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon cinnamon


1/2 teaspoon baking soda


1/4 teaspoon nutmeg


1-3/4 cups oatmeal


1 cup mashed ripe bananas


1/2 cup chopped nuts or raisins





Cream together sugar, shortening and egg. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for about 10 minutes or until light brown.





Makes about 4 dozen cookies.














Applesauce Cookies





Makes about 36 cookies.





1-1/2 cups flour


1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder


1/2 teaspoon baking soda


1/2 teaspoon cloves


1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


1/4 teaspoon salt


2 eggs, at room temperature


1/2 cup brown sugar


1/2 cup raisins


1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce





Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets, or line with parchment paper. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt; set aside.





In a mixing bowl, beat eggs until thick and pale. Add brown sugar; mix well. Add applesauce; mix well.





Add flour mixture. With mixer on low speed, mix until flour is incorporated. Add raisins; mix until distributed through dough. Mix a few more strokes by hand. Drop dough onto prepared cookie sheets; bake 8 to 10 minutes.














No Bake Apple Walnut Goodies





3 cups Quick Oatmeal


1 cup Walnuts, chopped


1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract


1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract


1 cup Applesauce


1-1/2 cups Granulated Sugar


1/2 cup Butter or Margarine


1/4 cup Cocoa Powder


1/4 teaspoon Salt





Makes About 3 Dozen Cookies





In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, walnuts, and extracts. Set aside for use later.





Heat applesauce in a saucepan over medium heat for about 5 minutes until thoroughly warmed. Add sugar, butter, cocoa, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly for about 1 minute. Remove the mixture from heat source and immediately add it to the reserved mixture of dry ingredients. Thoroughly combine all ingredients with a wooden spoon.





Drop by the teaspoonful onto waxed paper. When cooled and a bit firm, roll in confectioner's sugar, if desired. Store in an air-tight container or refrigerate.
