2 gherkins

1 cabbage

Seasoning:

3 Tbsp. salt

4 Tbsp. sugar

1 bowl of vinegar

1 bowl of cold water

Methods:

(1) Clean and fillet radish with carrot. Clean, pit and fillet gherkin.

(2) Pickle (1) with 2 Tbsp. for 30 minutes. Drain up.

(3) Mix all seasonings well to be the spice sauce.

(4) Tear cabbage into pieces, scald then soak in cold water, roll with (2) and shoak on the spice sauce for more than one hour, cut and dish up.

* If done correctly it should taste a bit sweet and sour.

Good luck.Do anyone have any good recipes for healthy snacks?
Your choice! It sounds yummy too! I thought you need to bring something ';dry'; to your school so that it wouldn't get messy therefore I didn't post any salad recipe. Bon appetite. Report Abuse

Do you have oven in your place?

My recipe
Ok, I'm glad your asking this question and not packing yourself gummi bears, cookies, and all that crap.

Here are some ideas for you:

-hummus and toasted bread (still warm or cold) or crackers. hummus can be found at any grocery store and is actually really healthy for you and tasty

-cut up a bunch of fruit (kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, watermelon, cantalope, etc.) and put it in a tupperware container or where you would store it, then add just a touch of your favourite juice and eat with a fork or spoon. Add sugar seperately for extra flavor and sweetening if you want

-Pretzels. They are healthy for you! They get a bad rep because of all the salt but if you buy non-salted or low-salt then they are very healthy and delicious! Try and stray away from from honey-mustard FLAVORED ones but dip it in mustard if you feel like it

- Mousse yogurt, I find that its better than regular yogurt and it tastes absolutley delicious. You can choose which flavor you like or you can go regular kind. Yogurt is a source of dairy and (if you getthe fruit kind) fruit

-Cheese and crackers, yum. If you want to keep it as healthy as possible go for whole wheat non-salted crackers and lw fat cheese if you want. Its just as good!

-Light microwavable popcorn! Yes! It's healthy! Just don't put any butter or salt on and get the low fat wariety. its a great snack for class if your hungry because it fills you up and its tasty!

-dry breakfast cereal. Try and look for one that you like that is whole grain and low sugar.

-BBQed fruit. Pineapple, peachs, etc. Its actually really yummy warm or cold.

-in season fruit. There are best when they are in season and its good for the enviroment!

-celery with ants, childish but yummy! Add peanut butter if its allowed at our school.

I hope all this was helpful! I sure took a while to type and compile. If you want more here is my email: michelle.v.coburn@hotmail.com

Most do not need to be made and can just be carried-simple, easy and no cooking
If you are in China or Hong Kong, you can easily buy cucumbers and tomatoes. Chop them up and have a small bowl, you can mix sesame oil with soy sauce 鑺濋夯娌瑰拰閰辨补娣峰湪涓€璧峰彲鑳戒細鍝﹀緢銆傘€傘€侴ive that a try
