I need healthy recipes?

I'm looking for some cheap, easy, fast recipes that I can make.

I'm trying to eat healthier.

I can cook pretty good, but when it comes to health food I'm clueless! I'm trying to eat healthier for many reasons, but the main reason is because I want my body to be healthier.

Thank you!

I love chicken. I'm not big on red meat (which I know is actually healthy) I love salads!I need healthy recipes?
Marinate %26amp; grill chicken breasts in light Italian dressing; cut leftover chicken in strips, freeze individual portions in freezer baggies %26amp; use for multiple meals:

1) Grilled Chicken breast; Microwaved sweet potato topped with a little Smart Balance margarine, a little brown sugar %26amp; cinnamon. Sauteed whole green beans with garlic.

2) Large salad with veggies, light dressing %26amp; topped with grilled chicken strips. Fresh in season fruit.

3) Chicken Quessadilla: Whole wheat tortilla, grilled chicken, onion, red pepper strips %26amp; shredded monteray jack cheese made from 2% milk. This can be open faced %26amp; microwaved or use two whole wheat tortillas %26amp; heat each side on a griddle. Tossed salad with avacado, %26amp; salsa.

4) Chicken Stir-fry: grilled chicken strips, fresh or frozen stir-fry veggies %26amp; Asian stir-fry sauce; serve on brown rice. Orange wedges.

Lean ground beef can be cooked, drained, put in a colander %26amp; rinsed with hot water to remove an additional 30% fat. Individual portions can then be frozen in freezer baggies:

Here are some ideas for some healthy foods:

1. Marinate boneless, skinless chicken breasts and thighs in low fat Italian dressing overnight to create a flavorful, moist chicken you can grill or broil.

2. Saute zuchinni, yellow squash, bell pepper, onion and mushrooms in a little olive oil and season with fresh chopped basil and oregano or thyme. Season to taste with kosher salt and fresh ground lemon pepper.

3. Watch out for the calorie count in lean ground turkey versus lean ground beef. You'd be surprised at how much more fat there is in the turkey!

4. Consider meatless meals once or twice a week. There are some great vege substitutes, such as Morning Star or Boca prime burgers. I love the sausage substitutes, tomato basil burgers, etc.

5. Barilla makes whole grain pastas that are filled with nutrition. Add olive oil, chopped fresh tomatos, artichoke hearts and shaved parmesan.

6. Organic brown rice is a good base for all sorts of delights. Think stir-fry! In a large saute pan, heat 1 T olive oil and add chopped fresh veges, bean sprouts, soy sauce, chili sauce, ginger, etc. to flavor. Serve over rice.

7. Eat whole grains for breakfast! Add a serving of orange juice, a type of lowfat protein.

8. Drink lots of water!

9. Make sure you are getting alot of fresh fruits during the day, at least 3, and fresh veges.
